Stone Chain (Nick Carter) is from the Central Arkansas area of Little Rock. He first started getting into music around the age of 5, first singing and then playing drums at age 6.

His parents were into the musical arts as well. His father a drummer, harmonica and sax player and both his mother and father singers as well as talented dancers. They use to play vinyl records of funk, rock, disco, blues, R&B, jazz, pop, classical and country. A wide variety of music.

Rock and Hip-Hop were two genres that heavily influenced him. Artists such as Alice and Chains, Stone Sour, Tupac, Bone Thugs and Harmony, and many more.

Nick went on to play in bands such as Monoxide Project, Drop Dead Syndicate, Corprusarium, Substance, and learned a lot from seasoned guitarist Bob Appleby.

He began working on his solo project throughout the years. The result is his debut album titled "Carter". With a mix of variety including rock, metal, hip-hop, R&B, and pop; The song titled "Battle Within" is the first single released featuring long-time friend Billy Grady (G Skotti).
